A palm-sized statuette of bronze cast in the likeness of a fierce griffon mid-roar, weighty in the hand despite its size. When placed upon the ground and a command word is spoken, the figurine swells into a true bronze griffon willing to bear a single rider through the skies. The creature obeys verbal commands, fights with claw and beak, and remains active for up to six hours before reverting. Once used, the figurine cannot be activated again for two days. If slain in beast form, the figurine is destroyed permanently. It is a powerful aerial mount and battlefield ally.
