Description
A bronze drinking horn carved with sagas of glorious last stands and wrapped in copper banding inscribed with battle prayers. When sounded as an action, the horn summons four berserkers from a distant warrior afterlife, who fight for one hour or until killed. Sounding the bronze horn requires the user to be proficient with martial weapons, or the berserkers attack the summoner instead. The horn cannot be sounded again until seven days have passed. War leaders, mercenary captains, and besieged champions blow the horn at the climactic moment of battle to turn a routed line into a victorious charge.
