Description
A pale lavender prism the size of a thumbnail that orbits the head of its attuned wearer in slow, deliberate rotation. While the stone hovers, the wearer may use a reaction to absorb a spell of 8th level or lower targeting them, expending one of its fifty stored levels of capacity. When fully drained, the stone cracks and crumbles to harmless dust. Archmages have chosen weaker stones over this one only because they could not afford to lose it. Against rival spellcasters it is a duel-ender, swallowing fireballs and dominations alike like quiet rain.
