Description
A small deck of 13 or 22 cards (depending on the version) made of ivory or vellum, kept in a box or pouch. Before drawing, the user declares how many cards (1 to 4) they will draw and must draw that many within 1 hour. Each card produces a random magical effect, ranging from incredible boons (extra wishes, free magic items, level-ups) to catastrophic banes (imprisonment, soul-loss, banishment to another plane). A drawn card disappears from the deck unless it is the Fool or Jester. The deck reshuffles itself when the last card is drawn.
