Description

While attuned and holding it, you can use an action and expend one charge to cast dominate beast (save DC 15) on a beast that has an innate swimming speed. The trident regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. It functions as a normal trident in melee or thrown attacks. Sahuagin captains, sea-elven rangers, and pirate hunters prize the weapon for commanding sharks, octopuses, and other denizens of the deep during boarding actions.
