Ecology
Bronze Dragon Wyrmlings hatch in coastal sea caves, cliffside grottos, and brackish estuaries. They are amphibious and thrive in salt water, eating fish, crabs, and seabirds. Adult bronze dragons often patrol coastal waters, hunting pirates and sea-raiders; they sometimes adopt orphan wyrmlings as pages and apprentices. The metallic-bronze sheen of their scales darkens with age.
Behaviour
Bronze Dragon Wyrmlings are **lawful good and serious-minded**. They consider themselves protectors of coastlines, even at hatchling size — a posture that is sometimes earnest, sometimes adorable, and sometimes effective. They demand identification from strangers and judge them by alignment. They speak Draconic and Common from hatching and prefer parley to battle, but their lightning-line breath is no toy.
Origin
Bronze dragons descend from Bahamut's brood and embody the storm and the sea — lawful protectors and judges. Their lineage features in many coastal legends: dragons who turned the tide of pirate wars, who guided lost ships through fog, who flew with hurricane-force above doomed merchant fleets. A wyrmling growing up near such legend often inherits a sense of duty before it inherits real power.
