GrimRest is the capital of its region — fortified, walled, and home to the ruling court in the shadow naming tradition. Half the buildings in GrimRest have been condemned, abandoned, or rebuilt over older structures whose original purpose nobody remembers. A guild house anchors the largest public square and handles disputes between members.
