Description
A sturdy shield emblazoned with a bullseye that subtly draws the eye of every archer on the field. While bearing the shield, the wielder has resistance to damage from ranged weapon attacks. However, a curse takes hold once attuned: whenever a creature within 10 feet of the wielder is targeted by a ranged weapon attack, the curse causes the shield's wielder to become the target instead. The cursed bearer cannot discard the shield or refuse attunement until a remove curse spell breaks the link.
