Description
A thin grayish candle like you might find in a candelabra, with tiny black runes carved down its sides.
This candle is attuned to the Realm of Shadow. To use this candle, draw a circle in chalk that is no wider than 10 feet in diameter and transcribe the candle's arcane runes around the edge of the circle. A DC 12 Arcana check is required to attempt to draw these runes correctly, and the process takes 10 minutes. On a failed check, the candle will not light and the ritual must be re-attempted.
Once the circle is complete, light the candle and set it in the center. There must be no other source of light in the room. When the candle burns out after one minute, the circle and any creatures or objects within it are transported to the Realm of Shadow. If you whisper a general target destination as the flame winks out and plunges you into darkness, you will appear as near that location as possible.
