Description
A creature subjected to this poison must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw, which they can choose to fail. On a failure, the creature becomes Stunned for 8 hours. The creature returns to normal if it takes damage or if another creature takes an action to shake it awake.
While under the effects of Slumber, a creature feels as if it is enjoying the most restful sleep they have ever experienced, filled with wonderful dreams. In reality, the creature is never truly unconscious and the experience takes a toll on the mind: when the effect of the poison ends, the creature suffers one point of Exhaustion. This often leads to the creature seeking out more Slumber to regain that feeling of restfulness.
Creatures of the Fey type do not suffer the normal effects of Slumber. Instead, the drug energizes them and their movement speed is increased by 10 feet for the next hour.
