Description
A clockwork device created by a master artificer, small enough to fit in a pocket. A creature can use their action to expend a charge and activate the device, which projects a sphere of barely-visible energy with a radius of 5 feet. This sphere is centered on the device and moves with it. No sound can penetrate this barrier—sounds created within the sphere are are inaudible outside it, and sounds created from outside are inaudible within. This effects lasts for one minute or until a creature uses their action to disable the device.
The device regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the device's last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the device falls apart and is destroyed.
