Description
An inch-long shard of pinkish crystal, shot through with blood-red veins. It buzzes chaotically with untapped psionic energy. You can harness this power, but it is dangerous and difficult to control without a vessel to contain it.
This crystal can be used as an Arcane Focus.
When you expend Sorcery Points while casting a spell, you can choose to channel the magic through the crystal. Roll 1d4. On a 4, the number of Sorcery Points you must spend in this casting is reduced by 1. Regardless of your roll, you suffer 2d6 Psychic damage.
Once you successfully use the crystal to reduce the Sorcery Point cost, you cannot use the crystal again until you finish a Long Rest.
