Description
A small metal cube, carved with runes. When it is not empty, a wisp of faint purple smoke leaks from the seams.
Relatively common among the wealthier residents of the Realm of Shadow, Vessels of Hope are used when bartering and gold isn't enough. Any creature that is not native to the Realm of Shadow may use their action to willingly transfer some of their dwindling hope to the vessel, taking a point of exhaustion. A creature holding the vessel can use their action to transfer any amount of hope from it to either another vessel within 5 feet, or into themselves. When it is transferred into a creature, that creature recovers a point of exhaustion for each point they absorb.
This vessel must be filled while within the Realm of Shadow, but the stored hope can be withdrawn from anywhere.
