Description
At your touch, all curses affecting one creature or object end. If the object is a cursed magic item, its curse remains, but the spell breaks its owner's Attunement to the object so it can be removed or discarded.

School Fit
The Abjuration school handles every spell that ends with the words 'this does not happen' — counterspells, dispels, shields, barriers, banishments. Remove Curse sits in the school because the spell ends, prevents, or absorbs an effect that would otherwise land. At level 3, daily slot counts allow Remove Curse to be cast multiple times across the adventuring day.
Class Fit
- Cleric: On a Cleric sheet, Remove Curse competes with Bless, Spiritual Weapon, Spirit Guardians, and Healing Word for daily prep slots.
- Paladin: Channel Divinity is the Paladin's Action-cost competitor in encounter math; Remove Curse earns its slot when it complements rather than conflicts.
- Warlock: Invocations cover a lot of utility a Warlock would otherwise spell-cast. Remove Curse earns its slot when invocations don't cover the same need.
- Wizard: On a Wizard sheet, Remove Curse competes for prep slot with Misty Step, Counterspell, Shield (a Reaction always worth prepping), Fireball, Polymorph, and the higher-tier wall and force spells.
