D&D Divination Spells
All 31 spells in the Divination school of magic. Knowledge, scrying, foresight.
What the Divination school is built around
Divination is the school of information. The spells answer questions: where, when, what is happening, what was said. As a school it competes with skill checks (Perception, Insight, Investigation) for the same narrative space, but spells can reach where ability checks can't.
How to use Divination spells
How to use Divination spells: keep one always prepared as a question-answerer (Detect Magic, Detect Thoughts, Comprehend Languages), and one as a foresight buff (Guidance cantrip, Augury, Foresight at high level). The school's value is in answers you can't get any other way.
Signature Divination picks
Signature picks: Detect Magic (level 1, often a ritual), Augury (level 2), Clairvoyance (level 3), Divination (level 4), Scrying (level 5), Foresight (level 9). Divination Wizards get Portent — a feature that defines the build at every tier.
